Exercise Physiology

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a post-graduate qualified health and fitness professional. They work with a range of people, including those who want personalised training delivered by an expert, and those who want to feel, move and look better but feel limited by health conditions and/or injuries. AEPs are also the most qualified health professionals to prescribe exercise for the treatment of long-term pain, medical conditions and chronic injuries.

Exercise Physiology can:

  • Provide private ongoing training in a non-intimidating environment
  • Help you to lose weight, get stronger, be healthier, and live your best life
  • Help you to train regardless of your level of fitness, injuries, health conditions, weight, and age
  • Walk you through quality, evidence-based exercise to help you achieve your goals in the most effective, safe and efficient manner possible
  • Actively treat long-term pain, injuries and medical conditions (e.g. back/knee/shoulder pain, neck tension, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, cancer, high blood pressure)

Rebates available from:

  • Private health funds (quote codes 102 and 202)
  • TAC, DVA and Workcover
  • Medicare (Chronic Disease Management plan)
For bookings and more information, visit our exercise physiology provider, Optimal Health Exercise Physiology at ohep.com.au.
