The VAFA Women’s Football team have come home with another win over the weekend to guarantee their spot in the Grand final. The team managed to grab a close win over Kew AFC with a final score of 26-18. The VFL Women’s team also scored a very promising win over the Casey Demons. Leading their opponents by 33 points at half time, the team managed to extend their lead with a generous final score of 65-12. Both VAFA Men’s teams scored great wins over the weekend, with the Uni Blacks demolishing the Parkdale vultures 146-60, and the Uni Blues defeating the Mentone Tigers 94-69.

The women’s Soccer team celebrated Pride this round in collaboration with our Pride in Sport program. They also celebrated a great win against the Essendon Royals with a final score of 3-1.

International House have won their first Intercollegiate Swimming Carnival, taking 2nd in the women with 162.50 points and 3rd in the men’s with 146.50 point, claiming 309 points overall.

Both Men and Women’s Renegades Volleyball team have qualified for the Grand Finals coming up on the weekend.  With the Women’s team defeating Monash the week before 3-1, and the Men defeating Monash 3-0.

The Men and Women’s Hockey Team have also come back with more promising wins. With the Men’s team defeating the TEM team 1-0, and the Women’s team defeating the TEM team 2-1 in their quest to avoid relegation.

The Athletics Club has performed well at Sandown over the weekend. The Division 1 Men’s team placing 3rd with a time of 54.44s and Division 2 claiming 1st with a time of 57.42s in the relays. As well as the Division 1 Women’s team placing 2nd with a time of 54.34 and the Division 3 team placing 4th with a time of 51.29 in the relays.
