The 2014 Australian University Games (AUG) marked the twenty first rendition of the Games. The University of Melbourne Winged Victory team finished the week with another excellent performance coming second overall with eight National Titles (gold medals), eleven silver and five bronze medals. Melbourne University Sport would like to give a special thanks to Winged Victory AUG captains Catherine Phillips – Ultimate Frisbee and Daniel Zambon – AFL.
Whilst our ambition was nothing short of overall champions we are proud to finish as the top Victorian University and leave ourselves in excellent position to recapture the overall championship in 2015.
In the context of Winged Victory team success we would like to celebrate a few individual and team performances that are worthy of a special mention;
